"New" Swing Set

My cousins gave us their old swing set when they were building their pool a few months ago. Nana found Lana a baby swing for it and brought it over Thanksgiving. While Nana, Cyndie and I were off braving the Black Friday shopping at Best Buy, Circuit City and IKEA (which wasn't as bad since there weren't any special sales there), Grandpa and Daddy put the swing set and playhouse together in the backyard. I was so excited because our backyard actually looks like a yard now where people live rather than just this big open field that's fenced in.



The dogs love it too because we're out there a lot more when Lana is swinging and sliding. Of course, they also think the whole thing is theirs, but so far Lana has been willing to share.


Today after lunch, Daddy took Lana out to swing on the swing a bit. She just loved it, especially on such a beautiful day.


I also took Lana on the slide (holding on, of course).


Lana just recently has been wanting to stand more and not sit or lay down at all. If you hold her hands, she can pull herself up sometimes, but she can't really stay balanced for very long. She can stand on her own (holding on) for a second or two, but she's getting there. This kid is just growing up WAY too fast for me!
