Gotta love those hand-me-downs

When Nana was showing my blog to one of her friends, she mentioned that she had one of those walker-thingies that we were going to get Lana for Christmas and would be happy to give it to us. This is the same friend who has been giving us all those beautiful outfits and everything! So Alisha gave the toy to Nana and then Grandpa mailed it to us and we got it yesterday. Alisha has been too generous and we love every bit of it, but Lana might love the toy the best. She went nuts over it when we got it yesterday and is happily playing on it today. She even knows how to (semi)gracefully dismount...ok, not graceful at all, but she doesn't cry or get hurt as long as I make sure she's not near anything she might bump into. Of course, she'll probably do much better with it when she can reach the ground with both feet rather than just on tip toes or on one side...

She also kinda likes the walker part of it (it's convertible) and tries to take a few steps even. Brent was very impressed with that part. Of course, she needs more of a spotter with that, so I didn't get any pictures yet.
