Meeting Baby Conor

Yesterday, Lana and I took a meal over to Baby Conor's mommy and daddy. He was born about two weeks ago and just came home from the hospital on Saturday. Heidi says that he's settling in pretty well. I think he might be one of the cutest babies I've ever seen. When he's awake he looks just like a tiny old man with the cutest little wrinkles on his forehead and thoughtful expression on his face and he has this redish hair that just kills me. Too cute!! Lana liked him well enough, but she really liked his bouncy seat and anything else in his house she could pull up on.

I couldn't get over how big Lana looked next to Conor. He wasn't that much smaller than her physically, but she just looked so much like a little toddler and not like a baby anymore. My little girl is growing up WAY too quickly!!!!

Here are a few pics of Lana with Conor and a few of just Conor. (I've added the captions of what Lana was thinking - or what I think she was thinking).

"Ms. Heidi, can Conor come down and play with me."
"No, Lana he's too little."

"But then, what can he do???"

Isn't it amazing how newborns can fall asleep almost anywhere, but never seem to manage it when you'd like them to (like at night or when you want to take a shower or while you're trying to eat dinner...)?
