So somehow Grandpa has lucked out two years in a row and had Lana there on his birthday. It must have something to do with his birthday being so close to Thanksgiving. Still, Lana had fun helping Grandpa open his presents and loved the M&Ms on his cake. Strangely enough, she wanted nothing to do with the actual cake but ate as many M&Ms as we'd give her.
We also took time to decorate Nana's tree. Again, it was a good practice for when we get our tree and get it up. Lana wasn't too sure of the tree when we first got here yesterday. She thought it was pretty, but she was scared to touch it or go near it. She got over that quickly enough when it came to trying to put the ornaments on the tree. She didn't quite understand hanging the ornaments on the branches, but she gave it a good try anyway.
