Water Babies

So Lana is now loving our pool in the backyard. We knew it would just take getting her in and comfortable with it. Her favorite thing to do is float around in her tube with her Dora. I've started working on her with her swimmies but they don't keep her head as high above the water so she doesn't like them as much. Lately, we've been wearing both the swimmies and tube at home.




We've also been spending a good bit of time at the pool in the next subdivision up from ours. Our friends live up there and have been so sweet to invite us often. Lana loves it because there's a whole toddler pool where nothing is over her waist and the other pool even has a little pool that she can stand in. She got in lots of practice with her swimmies there on Monday. Plus she loves playing with her friends!! (Thanks, Jaci & JT!!!)




It's also nice for Calli because she can take a dip and then take a nap in her stroller. During the week, there aren't a ton of people there and there's usually at least three or four moms there to help me watch Lana while I have Calli or listen for Calli if she gets fussy while she's dozing.
