Trip to Philly (Take 2)

Well we're heading out tomorrow morning, so I figured I'd post the rest of our pics while I'm attempting to watch the debate. Yesterday, we tried to have a quiet day. Everyone was so exhausted from the aquarium and everything else. Unfortunately, apparently Lana was really really overtired and overstimulated. She had one of her best (and yes, I say that sarcastically) meltdowns I have ever seen. I'm talking hours of hysterics no matter what I tried. I finally tried to let her cry it out and ended up with all three of us up in our room. Lana watched her show on the DVD player and just took some quiet time while Calli and I napped. She seemed better (though not perfect) after all that. Here's just a few images of us around the house from the week.






This morning, we headed over to Uncle Chris's fire station. Maria's friend, Lisa, and her son, Brett, met us over there for Brett. Brett is a few months younger than Lana. Funnily enough, both of the "big kids" wouldn't really go anywhere near the fire trucks. Eventually, Brett was convinced to get on the truck, but Lana enjoyed just looking at it and then running around with Brett. Of course, I got Calli all over the truck (and she was perfectly happy with the whole idea).





Then we attempted to go out to PJ's for dinner. I just love their Famous Fries. We got there a little late for the girls, but they did pretty well anyway...mostly.
