Calli's Party Weekend

We knew Declan would be coming sometime around Calli's birthday, so we scheduled her party for two weeks after her birthday. Calli was sooooooooooooo excited that Nana and Pop were coming to her birthday (and to meet Declan). Then she found out that Uncle Chris, Aunt Jackie, Taylor, Grace and Emma were coming too and she was over the moon. Her only concern (or upsetting thing) was that Uncle Sean and Miss Carly weren't come. For weeks before the party, she would tell us about Nana and Pop, Uncle Chris, Aunt Jackie, Taylor, Grace and Emma coming, but not Uncle Sean and Miss Carly. They live too far away. (All according to Calli.) It was too cute. Anyway, tons of pics from that weekend.

First we opened presents when Nana and Pop got there. (Mommy didn't even have Calli's presents in time for her real birthday. Thankfully, she didn't notice.)





Then we had Calli's party that afternoon with all her friends. Everyone had a great time!











Calli (and Lana) used her new Tinkerbell towels from Uncle Sean and Miss Carly for bath that night. They loved them, of course.


Saturday night, the girls had their first sleep over with their cousins. Grace and Emma decided to stay with the girls rather than go back to the hotel with their parents. They did remarkably well, but they were exhausted! On Sunday, we met back up with Uncle Chris, Aunt Jackie, and Taylor at the Fort Worth Science and History Museum. Everyone had a great time! Taylor loved the CSI exhibit. Lana loved the planetarium and the kids' area.









Everyone had a great time, but we were all totally exhausted at the end of the weekend.
