Playdate with Jack

So Jack (and his mom Melanie) were finally able to come over and go swimming last week. Between our hectic schedules and some weird weather, they hadn't gotten in our pool yet (despite the kids playing together at least once or twice a week). Both kids had a great time!! When Melanie and Jack got here, Lana was still in her jammas...well, her jamma shirt and nothing else since we're potty training. I tried to convince her to get dressed but she was "too busy". Funny thing was that Jack showed up in his jammas too. Apparently, Melanie had had the same conversation with him that I had with Lana. "Do you want to go play with Lana?" "Yup." "Then you need to get dressed." "Nope." "But don't you want to go to Lana's house to play?" "Yup"... and it goes on...before giving up (like me). Too funny the kids still love each other after meeting new friends at school and around town. Maybe it's because they were some of each other's first friends that they played with and interacted with. Dunno. But they always have fun together.


Calli even woke up to say hi and played in her buggy outside until she fell asleep again.
