Lana's Birthday

Lana had a blast yesterday for her birthday. First she had a party at school, which she loved! She brought in rainbow cupcakes with pink and blue icing (because pink and blue are her favorite colors).









Then she had swimming lessons. It was the last class of the semester, so they were doing pool safety. The kids all came in their clothes and practiced swimming in them and not panicking when someone pushed them in. Lana thought it was hysterical. The swim school even gave Lana a little present for her birthday - a swim bag and t-shirt. She loves them!!




After swimming lessons, Lana got to open all her presents from us while I finished cooking her favorite dinner (tacos). As always, we went overboard, but she's only going to be 4 once, right? She and Calli loved it.


Then she loved her tacos and (leftover) cupcakes. She even insisted on making a purple cupcake for Calli. (Purple is Calli's favorite color.)





Tonight, we took Lana out for her birthday to the restaurant of her choice (On the Border). They even sang to her and brought her a giant brownie sundae. She loved it and loved all the attention! Too much fun!!!
